Fees

Fees apply for any sessions not covered by Early Years Education (EYE) funding.
From September 2025, the rates are:

• £6.00 per hour for children aged 3–4 years
• £6.50 per hour for children aged 2 years

Fees are payable half-termly in advance.

If a child is absent without prior notice or for a short period, fees will still apply. For extended absences, parents should speak with the Business Manager regarding payment arrangements. Continued attendance at the setting requires the prompt payment of all applicable fees. For further details, please refer to the fee payment policy.

Lunch provided by Little Apples costs £2.50 per day. This is optional; parents are welcome to provide a packed lunch instead.

There are no additional fees applicable at our setting.

Early Years Education (EYE) Grant

All children in Hampshire are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare and education per week for 38 weeks of the year (up to 570 hours), commencing the term after their third birthday. This funding is provided because early learning gives children the best start in life. Through learning and playing with other children in a safe and structured environment, they'll have a head start when they begin school.

You can use your EYE-funded hours at any time, without restrictions. These hours can be split between up to two different providers in a single day and are accepted by various childcare providers, such as nurseries, childminders, and pre-schools.

Parents of 2-year-old children may be eligible for 15 hours of childcare support per week, starting from the term after their child’s second birthday, if they receive certain types of government support. For more details, please refer to the link below or get in touch with the Business Manager.

Working parents and carers who meet eligibility requirements can receive an extra 15 hours of childcare support for children aged 3 and 4, totalling up to 30 hours per week (up to 1140 hours annually). Additionally, eligible working parents with 2-year-old children can access 15 hours of childcare support per week.

Starting from September 2025, children aged 9 months up to school age will be eligible for 30 hours of Early Years Education (EYE) funding per week, available for 38 weeks per year, totalling up to 1,140 hours.

The Childcare Choices website offers details on both new and existing Government childcare schemes. You can explore the eligibility requirements and submit your funding application there.

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)

The Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) provides extra funding for eligible 2, 3, and 4-year-olds, paid based on the number of hours of early years education (EYE) claimed, up to a maximum of 570 hours per year. Eligibility is determined by the benefits a family is receiving or if the child is in the care of a local authority.

Research and national data indicate that children who qualify for the EYPP benefit the most from early education, and this additional funding is designed to ensure they receive the best possible start. You will be given a form to complete when your child starts, and if you meet the criteria, we can claim the extra funding immediately. For further details, please refer to the notice board, contact the Business Manager, or:
